The restoration project is funded in part by a Keystone Historic Preservation Grant through the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission. The project includes the restoration of the steel columns and the restoration of the front porch with the replacement of the balustrade. The balustrade is being replaced with a new white concrete balustrade made with the same type of molds. The Society also has additional restoration work planned for the fall with the stucco repair and painting of the front and side of the building. Both of these projects are being funded through the Capital Campaign funds for the costs over and above the grant monies. All work is being completed by companies that specialize in historic preservation.
